daughters.

Dissertation for PhD in 1983. “Cryptorchidism and testicular function”.

General surgery 1971–1974– Eskilstuna; Ped.Urology, Uppsala
University 1975–1983.
Urology 1984–1985; Since 1986 head of the section of Pediatric Urology, Uppsala.
Elected as the first Professor in Pediatric Urology at the University of Uppsala in 2004.
Science
Published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters.
Morphological and endocrinological research on the human undescended testis; Basis for my thesis.
Vesicoureteral reflux – particularily endoscopic treatment – Experimental and clinical studies. Long-
term studies.
Enuresis and bladder dysfunction
Pediatric Oncology (Neuroblastoma (Biochemical markers); Wilms' Tumour (angiogenesis).
Visiting professor and lecturer in many countries all over the world.
Member of several national and international medical societies.
Elected member of the ”Society for Pediatric Urology Surgeons” (SPUS) since 1997.
Elected International member of the “American Association of Genito Urinary Surgeons” (AAGUS)
in 2005.
Founder of the Swedish Enuresis Academy (SEA) since 1993. President from 1993-2008. Member
of the board.
Member of ESPU since the start 1990. Member of the board and treasurer of the ESPU
2006–2010. From 2010 President elect and President 2012–2014.
